“Born on the 4th of July!”
When I was deciding on the launch date for the new Multilite website, I couldn’t help but thinking that I had to coincide this with the opening of a remarkable restaurant in Honeydew, which I have had the pleasure of being a part of.
Today, “Papachino’s” opens it’s doors to the public and I have no doubt that all its patrons will experience not only a wonderful dining experience but a “home away from home” atmosphere. This was the vision of owners Andreas and Christo when they began their dream of creating this unique restaurant.Everything has been carefully designed and thought out by the owners themselves and the attention to detail is astounding.
Children will be made to feel like princes and princesses with a playground that boasts castles, pirate boats, dolls houses and race tracks while adults can enjoy a couple of quiet moments either on the enormous undercover patio or inside, marveling at the wonderful décor.
Within this “scope” Multilite developed the majority of the lighting requirements. Our new ceramics provided signature focal point lighting while the LEDs accentuated arches, beams and a customized pressed ceiling. Some of the owners own décor was incorporated into “tomato box” lights, milk can “down lighters” and striking  “cup” chandeliers! It was an absolute honour to create these “masterpieces” which so gracefully fit in the with the two Fiat 600’s which the owners have proudly positioned in the restaurant, as well as beautiful wallpapering and other artifacts. All our ceramics boast the restaurant’s logo – “Respect the Pizza”, a theme which is echoed throughout the restaurant. Besides these customised fittings, Multilite also designed and supplied the outside lighting, ensuring that the driveway and parking lot are well lit-up for evening visitors. Security is paramount and plenty of lighting ensures that all parts of the restaurant are clearly visible.
The Honeydew area will benefit from this “ WOW “ factor and I do believe that “Papachino’s” is exactly that. Congratulations to Andreas and Christo and all concerned - thank you for this unique opportunity! “Respect the Pizza!”

Photographs and technical detail of all these fittings are available under the projects page.

Gavin says “ Go green!…”
It is easy being green.

LED lights use 85% less energy than conventional incandescent bulbs and less than half the energy of compact fluorescent lamps. Consuming less energy results in fewer greenhouse gas emissions being released into our environment. It is estimated that the Co2 emissions into our atmosphere can be reduced by 326 Million tons per annum, using energy saving solutions currently available.

Also, because each light is designed to last for 50,000 or more hours, there is less landfill waste from burned-out incandescent bulbs and no dangerous mercury waste from fluorescents. It’s a no- brainer - you can have safe, affordable, beautiful lighting that makes a positive environmental difference. “But, that’s not all folks….” – it also costs less!

With electrical costs on the alarming increase, LED lights are saving their owners as much as 90% off their current electrical bills.

Multilite designed a solution for a client with an existing power……….. the new solution included …………… The pure saving in energy was……… Besides this, there are also significant cost reduction ito installation and maintenance. The power and cost saving is visible.
